What is Gender Affirming Coaching?

Affirming your gender is a journey, and sometimes it can be helpful to have an ally and partner. My aim is to help you define, explore and achieve your gender affirmation goals, with a specific focus on the unique challenges that professionals face. No matter where you are on your journey, I seek to help you make progress more quickly, and with fewer detours, than you would be able to accomplish on your own.

How does Coaching work?

First, we’ll talk about your goals (both personal and professional) and where you are on your gender journey. Next, we’ll work together to define measurable outcomes and a gender affirmation plan. As you work towards your outcomes, we meet weekly or every other week to give you the support you need to succeed. I’m here to support you however you need, whether its to brainstorm solutions or just be able to talk with a person who has faced similar challenges.

How much does it cost?

My goal is to provide coaching services to anyone, regardless of ability to pay. The base rate for Gender Affirming Coaching is $150/hour. I also work with the Foundation for Community Resilience to offset the cost of coaching for qualified candidates.
